Is the app free to use?
You can download the app and try the first lesson and selected preposition lists for free. To unlock all 12 chapters, full flashcard practice, and custom vocabulary features, you can upgrade to Hero Pro via subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
How do the flashcards and study modes work?
The app uses a Smart Learning algorithm (spaced repetition) to show you harder words more often, and easier words less often. You can practice in three modes: Translation, Explanation (German-to-German), and Synonyms.
Can I add my own words?
Yes! With the 'My Words' feature (included in Hero Pro), you can build your personal vocabulary. Add words you hear at work, include your own translations and examples, and practice them using the flashcard system.
Does my progress sync across my devices?
Yes. If you enable iCloud sync in the settings, all your learning progress, custom translations, Favorites, and 'My Words' will automatically stay updated across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
